The Club held the 59th Adshead Over 80 Mixed Triple bowling tournament on Thursday, May 25th. It was a terrific event…attracting a full field of 16 teams from across the south Island. All players are in their eighth decade… but you wouldn’t know based on the fine athletic skill on display. CP boasted two sides who did well but just missed out on the prize money. The eventual winners were as follows:
1st Keith Hammell, Cecile Hammell and Jim Ward (Burnside)
2nd Ben Mason, Floyd Ruttan and Gale Law (Gordon Head)
3rd Mary Howarth, Robbin Hittos and Glen Shippan (Gordon Head)
