31 enthusiastic members came out to usher in 2016 with games of lawn bowls and croquet under gloriously sunny skies. Lorne provided a large batch of hot rum punch which kept everyone from freezing. Good food, drink and games.
This was also an opportunity for members to say goodbye to Jean Grote, who is moving back to Switzerland. Jean joined our club last summer and was on his way to being a very good bowler. We will miss his smiling face around the clubhouse.
