It has been several years since the last Rose Bowl. This year, however, saw the return of a very successful field of eight teams entered for the coveted Rose Bowl. Although the weather was hotter than usual, the players managed to complete the event in style. There were some great games and even some upsets along the way. Celebrations included roses for all the players, food and refreshments, and plenty of loud applause.
The winners of the event were Annie Mathie and Jill Foster of Juan de Fuca, followed by Jamie Porter and Susan Crisp of Canadian Pacific in second and Anne Murffitt and Anita of Lake Hill in third.
