A fun day was enjoyed by the novice players taking part in the 2019 Novice Tournament. Spectators enjoyed some riveting games in the Men’s tournament, but the eventual winner was Alan Forester. The women’s tournament was far more relaxed, and was won by Susan Knight.
The day presented a great opportunity for the newcomers to meet and partake in their first of many tournaments. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this such an enjoyable event!
