On July 30, 2014, the Canadian Pacific Lawn Bowling Club played host to a number of children and their families for an afternoon of fun on the green. The children were all patients of the Canucks Place Children’s Hospice. The skies were sunny and the smiles were wide as the kids, siblings and parents tried their hands at Clock Golf, Croquet, and Lawn Bowls. Many club members came out to help ensure that all had a wonderful experience. Our club is thankful for the opportunity to bring a little joy into the lives of these special children and look forward to future visits.
